Sean Reid

Research Areas

Sean Reid is an MA/PhD student in the Department of Geography at University of California, Santa Barbara and a graduate associate with the Broom Center for Demography. Most recently he worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory on the LandScan Project – a global population distribution data set. Before that, he received hiis bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Utah, along with certificates in Remote Sensing, GIS, and Geospatial Intelligence. His research interests are focused in urban dynamics, human mobility, machine learning and nature-society interactions.
