Join us for Reunion de Colegas IV on October 20, 2023, at 10:00 am in the Dolores Huerta Room, SH 1623! This gathering is a special occasion where we come together to share stories, break bread, and reflect on the profound impact of Chicano and Chicana Studies. We'll explore how our work has influenced our students, communities, universities, and ourselves, driving our ongoing conversations. Our shared working-class and indigenous backgrounds have shaped our perspective and our quest for self-discovery to improve our circumstances. With our expanded knowledge, Chicano and Chicana Studies have played a pivotal role in shaping our identities and explaining our origins. As Chicanx scholars, we're committed to fostering honorable and loving dialogues, rooted in decades of hard work and unwavering dedication to community betterment. We're honored to host 11 esteemed faculty members who played a central role in shaping Chicana and Chicano/x Studies. La Reunión de Colegas is the fourth meeting since our inaugural gathering in December 2021 at the University of California, Berkeley.
