Hunter Lenihan

Current Project: Professor Lenihan will focus on data analysis on coral populations and fisheries as well as designing a wild horse grazing experiment. 

His research is centered on population and community ecology, specifically the California fishing communities to develop management strategies for habitat based fisheries and has led long term research on coral restoration in Moorea and French Polynesia. His work also incudes developing disease resistant abalone for population recovery and he has conducted studies in estuaries, polar ecosystems, and deep sea hypothermal vents.
