Dan Lane

Current Project: Professor lane focuses on the range of political communication, digital media, and inequality. Specifically, how social media shapes political inequality and how technology is used by individuals to drive social and political change.

Bio:
Dane Lane is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and the director of the UCSB Digital Political Inequality Lab. His work intersects political communication, intergroup communication, and communication technology. Before pursuing a career in academia, he founded Good Eye Video, a digital story telling company that works with non profit organizations.
