COVID-19

Dear Colleagues,

In line with the direction of the Office of Research's advocacy of increasing "social distance" on campus and in our community, the CSI staff are working remotely until further notice. Our office activity will continue to follow our normal schedule, and deadlines will remain unaffected with the exception of our Research Clusters call, for which we will send out a separate message. Please know that the CSI is working with our partners across campus to be prepared for all eventualities so that we may continue providing essential and timely service to all of our PIs and department liaisons.

As other units have recognized, although we are operating at full capacity at the moment, our normal workflow may be interrupted due to illness, childcare closures, technical glitches as we work remotely, and the like. Whenever possible, please provide advance notification of any time sensitive requests.

During this time, email will be the most effective means to communicate with the CSI staff. We recommend against leaving voicemails, particularly for urgent matters.

Best wishes,
Gerardo Aldana
Interim Director, CSI
