Editors from the University of California Press will conduct a workshop on the book publication process and writing a book proposal. You will learn tips for reaching out to acquisitions editors, how to write a compelling book proposal, and what is involved in securing a book contract. UC Press editors will also offer individualized appointments after the workshop to discuss your specific book idea and provide guidance. Presenters include: Niels Hooper (Executive Editor), Michelle Lipinski (Senior Editor), and Kim Robinson (Editorial Director).
